YEAR 1

This has been a very busy and amazing year! It’s always impossible to list all of the highlights from the smallest achievements to the highlight moments. I am proud to have had the opportunity of teaching them for 2 years and adored watching your children grow socially, academically and personally. The achievements extend from the academic, to the sporting and the creative arts and to the numerous fun and fundraising activities.

Of course, we should not forget the tremendous amount of learning which has taken place during the year. I have made lots of cherished memories and wish all students a bright future.

A big thank you to the parents, as well, for your support during this journey. This is what some of the students had to say about this year:

Burhaan: I liked coding in ICT and the Maths lessons.

Ayat: I enjoyed sport with Brodie. I like school because it is fun. I learnt a lot this year and excited to go to Year 2 next year.

Nadia: I liked how the teacher helped me a lot. Mrs. Pandher is really kind and I liked the electives a lot, how we did cooking and ate yummy food. I also liked the concert.

Kausar: I liked electives and English because I learnt how to write and I liked writing stories. I liked Arabic class too.

Sajaad: I enjoyed English, Arabic and ICT classes and also sport with Brodie. I liked when we finished our work you let us go on the computers.

Furkan: I liked PE with Brodie. I liked the cooking elective and construction. I liked Maths classes because I am smart in Maths.

Mohammad Almousawy: I really liked the construction elective and cooking. I also liked the “Pyjama Day”.

Malak: I liked how everything was fun this year like dress up days and the concert. I like school because it is fun and I enjoyed the cooking elective because we learnt how to cook.
